Puget Sound Anniversary Photos | Nicole and Matt

About this time last year, I was beyond thrilled to hear word that my good friend from high school, Nicole, was going to be visiting with her husband, Matt, over the summer. After high school, Nicole’s family coincidentally moved to Texas at the same time as she headed off to SMU in Dallas, meaning we didn’t get to catch up over winter and spring breaks from school. Having only seen her a handful of times since graduation (another visit a few years prior, and then her 2018 wedding in Texas), I was counting down the days!

Their July visit was a few months past their first wedding anniversary, so I thought it would be the perfect time to take some anniversary photos at the beach, right on the scenic Puget Sound. Not wanting to take too much time away from our few hours together, we kept it short, shooting for only about fifteen minutes from start to finish. I love looking through this gallery. To me it’s the absolute perfect example of how many beautiful photos you can get in such a short period of time.

As spring draws nearer, it has me thinking more seriously about setting up some spring mini sessions. Just fifteen to twenty minutes, when utilized well, can result in more than enough gorgeous shots for updating the frames at home. I’ll likely be posting an announcement about mini sessions in mid-April. Get ready!!

For now, enjoy some of my favorite shots from this gorgeous sunny day with Nicole and Matt!
